I hope you have enjoyed your summer. I want to share how excited I am to meet you and welcome you to our new school year at St. Clare’s Catholic Academy. As you may have already heard, I have the honor of embarking on this new journey with our families. My goals for the year are to reinvigorate the academics, drive facility improvement, incorporate more technology and most importantly drive the faith formation of our school.

The first day of school is Wednesday, September 6, 2023 for grades K-8. Students are schedules for half days, Wednesday, September 6 th – Friday, September 8 th . There will be NO school bus service nor will there be any Afterschool Program for these half days.

All students are expected to be in full uniform. You can purchase uniforms from Flynn O’Hara, located at: 80-40 Cooper Avenue (lower level) Building 4, Glendale, NY 11385 or you may shop our online store.

To prepare for a smooth first few days of school, please follow the schedule and entrance locations based on grade levels:

If your child arrives after 8:15 AM, please come in through the front doors. Your child will be marked late and given a late pass to go to class. PLEASE make every effort to get your child to school on time.

This is a life lesson you can model for them.

Full days will begin Monday, September 11, 2024. Please follow these locations and times for full days:

Back to school night has been scheduled for Thursday, September 14 th at 7:00 PM. It will be in person.
